Just curious, you guys ever troll w/ planer boards? Reason I ask is because I fly fish a number of lakes for trout and this time of year I'm concentrating in 4-10 feet of water. All the food and most of the oxygen will be in the shallows the first month or so after ice out.
When I was back in PA we would make occasional trips to Lake Ontario to troll for early season Browns (about this time of year) and we would flat line Rapala's off of planer boards.
