Monday Mayhem at Lincoln 5-21-18

We caught about 10 cats (largest at 26 1/2"), at least 20 white bass and the 9 pounder in the attached photo. I accidentally snagged it and reeled her in on 4 pound line (lots of fun). I filleted her this evening and she was full of eggs. I hope she catches a sturgeon and many cats for me. We had no luck out in the plains where Pat fished. I found them right up next to the weeds, but they would immediately head for the thick timber when they were hooked and I couldn't pull them back out, so we did most of our fishing at Bird Island.
