If you pass through at 2 AM, I would think you don't need to drive through the port. I don't know if the signs are put up every day like they are on the way to Strawberry at the Heber City Port. Most of the folks living in Manila and wanting to fish out of Buckboard will drive up before 6:00 AM when the check station at the Anvil turnoff is closed so they won't have to stop. Just one more example of what people think about the AIS Program. I can't be bothered with it, so I'll make sure I drive through when it isn't open.[/#800000][/font][/quote]
A lot of us are up at 5 and on the water before 6 while the late risers are still sipping their brew and making a grease bomb for breakfast, it's not a matter of "avoiding" the inspection. And if you launch from Lucerne there isn't any inspection required.
