IMO the reason for the improved fishing at Scofield this year was somewhat because of the introduction of some new predators but more importantly was the fact that we had a great water year in 2016-2017 and the reservoir filled for the first time in six years and the water quality inproved.[

We'll have to see how well the fish do next year with the lower water levels and higher water temperatures this year. Knowing how they manage Scofield water, don't expect to see much left in it by the end of the irrigation season.[:/]
