Why no fishing from the dock???

This issue is very clear cut, it is a safety issue, for every person that moves out of the way of someone using the dock for its intended purpose there are others that do not move and it presents a dangerous situation, plain and simple. If this were not an issue and someone had not been hurt or almost hurt in the past there would be no law about it. I hear what you are saying and if you can do as you said and get off the dock in a timely manner and no law enforcement is needed then I say, go for it. The thing is for every person like yourself that will do what you have stated, there are many others that think they are entitled to that dock space and they will not move until they are forced to move and therein lies the problem. Where do you draw the line and know who will move and who will not move[:/].
