Strawberry Docks
#7
liketrolling you didn't need to delete your post. I appreciated your response and understood from your comment that I should expect to be able to catch a lot of fish tomorrow. Again, thanks for commenting.

btw I have a 16 foot livingston boat with a center console I will be fishing with tomorrow in the afternoon. Boat is decent in some swells and wind. I've had it out in Utah lake in +17 mph winds. Looks like tomorrow at Strawberry it could be 15 mph winds. Planning on drifting in the wind using tube jigs and worm as you suggested.

Was mostly wondering if the docks were still in. I'll call the Marina store tomorrow. Also any pointers on where to fish?. I've only fished strawberry a handful of times (never in the fall) and most times end up skunked. Just was looking for suggestions on where to fish and how. Also now wondering where to go if it's windy.

Thanks!
I was going to ask if you had a Livingston, most people in Utah have never heard of them. We have our Lund Tyee 1950, but also own 2 Livingstons, one is the LV 10 and the other is an LV 7.5. Most stable small boats on the planet and are being set up for smaller lakes and ponds, the LV 10 is comparable to a 16 foot aluminum for stability but has about a 4 inch draft. Your 16 is comparable to a 20 foot aluminum but has a very shallow draft around 9 inches if memory serves. Have fun and catch a big one!
