Hey Pat thanks for the tips on catching the carp. Last year I got onto about 8 carp through the ice on my small tungsten ice jigs with a maggot, but so far this year I can't even get them to look at it. Maybe it's a time of day thing and I'm not after them when they are feeding.. They are also in the river channel so I'm fighting current this year, where last year they were in a slough without current.. I'll give a piece of corn a try, I didn't have much luck with it last summer on Cutler... I thought it would be great to have the magic bait back in the arsenal, but I haven't caught a fish on it myself... I did have a couple caught in my boat with corn though... So I'll try it again and see if it will work... Guess I was underwhelmed by my corn results... Anyway thanks Pat and catch ya later J
