[#0000FF]I'm guessing his "rock fish" would be tough to fillet. And I doubt it would be nearly as good as the real rockfish.[/#0000FF]

[#0000FF]Having lived, worked and fished in SoCal for a large part of my younger years I have caught lots of the bottom dwellers collectively called "rockfish". Amazing how many species there are...and how differently they are colored. Boccaccio, chili peppers, treefish, chuckleheads, cow cod, ling cod, sculpins, cabezone, sheepshead, whitefish and a host of others all contributed to a full sack...and some tasty meals. I really miss them at times.
