Have you seen the mounts Ron (Hookngrinin) does? I used to think I needed the skin, but after seeing some of Ron's work I'm a believer in replica's now... Just haven't found one I can talk myself into spending the money on yet... He does some really pretty work... but from seeing the fish you catch, I'm pretty sure it will take something really special to have a mount done... he may not have a blank in the size range to fit your fish...
