I've found the 48" Tiger Muskie scent works well to scare off small panfish. Just squeeze a few ounces down the hole and before you know it only perch, bluegill, white bass and crappie over 12" will check out your bait.

Edit: I received a PM from a member who wanted to know how to target even bigger panfish. I told him about my 54" Tiger Muskie scent. It's only $999.99 a bottle but the supply is very limited. It's been awhile since I've caught a 54" Muskie.
