Uinta Backpacking Options with 6 Year Old

I just got off the phone with a forest Ranger and inquired about Chipeta Lake area. He said the snow is gone and that area has several Lakes easily accessible for your little one. Hidden Lake, elbow Lake, moccasin, papoose, Wigan and several others. That area is one of my favorite places in the Uintas.
