drop-shotting
#4
Drop shotting works great from the shore. I also use worms for this, but have success with other plastics.
Drop shotting is tying your worm on with an extra bit of line trailing rather than clipping it off. I will typically leave 15" in which you can place a pinch weight or split shot to the end of it. when fished properly the weight will sit on the bottom suspending your worm in the strike zone. By sliding the weight along the trailer you can choose the depth of you worm. Then simply twitch your rod tip gently to create action in you worm. After trying a few times you should get the feel for it.

Eric Seif
