The lake level is 354.20 the water temperature is 48 to 50 deg, We had 37 keepers yesterday with most of the fish caught in 15’ to 8’ of water with bait 1’ to 2’ off the bottom. The crappie are moving shallower every day with some fish already in 6’ of water, Try slow trolling flats in 8 to 10 foot of water with the baits 7 to 9 foot deep. My best baits this weekend were 3/32oz TeeZur Green Monster tipped with a minnow, 3/32oz TeeZur Hot Head black with green eyes with a black/chart skirt tipped with a crappie nibble. 3/32oz TeeZur Hot head white with red/black eyes with an orange/chart and a 1/8oz TeeZur minnow head pink/white with a smoke/clear sparkle/pink minnow tube filled with Kodiak paste. Bundle up and take a friend fishing.
