Cutler Questions

I may be headed up to Cutler tomorrow afternoon to shuttle some Boy Scouts to the camp up there. I'm wondering if any one has suggestions on places to get on the water with a kayak. Looks like there is a boat ramp on the opposite side of the lake from where I'll be. 

Also if there are any recent reports of what's working up there that would be appreciated as well.
