Beached boat was gone. One quirk of late. I had quite a few Kokes bite right in the middle of the power squadron action. They didn't seem to mind the ruckus. Wave runners still put them down though. As to the maggots, I have been tipping the top hook with either fire corn or salad shrimp soaked in scent and dyed pink. Shrimp worked the best. Trailing hook still tipped with maggots.

I called Jordanelle state park and the girl I talked to did not know what happened with the boat but I'm glad to hear they got it off the shore. I was wondering if all the up and down movement of the boat might trigger the fish to bite. Good to know the fire corn is working.
