I fished Deer Creek today for a few hours. I got Skunked. There is open water near the island. I took the Kayak out for it's maiden voyage. It was a lot of work getting it down to open water but once I got in and started to move, what a blast. It's well worth the money that I paid for it.

I did get to meet Road and Fishboy 2. It was very nice to meet them and to BS with Road. Road caught a nice Rainbow. I'll let Road tell you about their trip.

The ice near the island is not safe. I don't know about the Dam end



It was a great day to be out in the sun and get some exercise.
