I like that area and travel over there by boat from Lincoln and other times I launch my kayak from the shore. That muddy bottom is deceptive; it looks like rocky sand on the surface and it is until you put the weight of a truck on it. Those tracks in the mud in your second picture could very well be mine. I got stuck there and had to call for reinforcements to come and fetch me out. Live and learn... I hope.

never got my vehicle stuck there just me. That sucking mud had a good hold of me for sure. glad i had a walking stick with me that day. Lynn can we launch at Lincoln yet?

Lincoln is looking better every time I go there. I think a smaller boat could get out if your trailer will clear the drop at the end of the cement. I would give it a try but have not got my boat out yet. I have not seen a launch or a trailer in the parking area. Would probably have to trim up all the way out the chancel to open water. Heavy in-flow from Spring Creek and weatherman says more rain/snow coming so it should not be too long before the walleye guys are launching, catters too.

Hope to see you at the Knolls soon.
