Wisconsin and Vermont are trying to tackle some of the problems wake boats cause

I don't see any mention of how the zone is to be outlined on the water, nor what the penalty might be if violated. Just setting a distance from shore will have as much success as our distance from other boaters rule - largely and often deliberately ignored.
