Hit Fish Lake today. Perch bite was pretty hot until 2pm. Caught 11 that were between 9 and 10 inches rest were 5 to 8. Not too bad for Fish Lake. Quit counting at 50 perch guessing close to seventy. Only trout I caught was a 17-inch splake. Saw a couple trout type marks during the day. Unusual for the spot I was fishing as I catch anywhere from a dozen to two dozen bows a trip. They just weren't around. Ice was 8". I was fishing 15 to 18 feet deep. Only saw a handful of other groups fishing. No wind sunny temps in 20s to low thirties. Doesn't get much better for Fish Lake in January.
