Cisco not Yet

There will be no "cisco disco" this year. I could never find anyone interested in taking over for me to catch cisco, obtain fries, make 80lbs of scone dough, etc. It was a lot of work for sure and it was a blast! We had a good run of nearly 40 years of which I was the ring-leader for 31 of those years! However, it was more than just myself.....I had a great "Disco" team helping with gathering cisco, cleaning fish, and cooking for many hours in some crazy winter conditions. The Garden City Chamber of Commerce (along with many others) are still having the Bear Lake Monster Winterfest on January 24th and 25th at the Utah State Park Marina. www.bearlakemonsterwinterfest.com

There will still be a polar plunge, still have a cardboard boat race, still lots of prizes, food, things to buy, and even a largest cisco contest from what I can see on-line. All good things have to come to an end. I'll miss all the friends I've made over the years and remember the good times we had with Doug Miller, Adam Eakle, Karen Miller, Reese Stein, Gary Winterton, Brian Brinkerhoff, etc. If anyone wants to try to re-ignite the Cisco Disco in the future, let me know. I can give you some very helpful info.
