As an update, the dog is doing really well adjusting to her new home. It took a few days for both dogs to adjust to each other. She likes to have a warm lap to lay on with her blankee. As for my brother, he passed on Feb 3.

Sorry to hear about your brother passing Roger, how old was he? At least the dog is adjusting to her new home.

I have lost all my siblings at early ages. This brother was 68, another at 69, 55 & sister at 61. I’m the only one that got over 70. My parents lived to their early 80s
