bass fishing northern utah
#3
Hi- I have been trying off and on for a month to find a good bass fishing hole and not had much luck so far. Mantua can be good but I haven't had much luck there this year myself. You have to aware of the artificial lures only restrictions. Hyrum, Newton, and Willard all have bass, but Newton is still really low and not very good this year. Hyrum is full of water, and people are fishing for bass in the shallow inlet end. The state park charges a $5.00 per vehicle entry fee to launch a boat at the park marina. The best reports seem to be coming from Willard, but it can be pretty fickle too. I haven't fished Pineview for bass yet. I keep trying for the bass in hopes one day I will really get into them. I guess you can say I am addicted to it. Lots of luck wherever you try. Acey
