The perch will hit just about anything you put out there for them: worms, perch meat or eyeballs, small tube jigs, paddlebugs, small curly tail grubs, etc. White or chartreuse seems to be the best colors. For best results use a tiny jig like a paddlebug or tube jig and tip it with a tiny piece of worm. Once you've caught one, cut it's meat into tiny strips and then tip your jig with those. They go nuts for it.

For smallies senkos or larger tube jigs are good, again white or chartreuse, or use crankbaits. It's pretty hard to go completely wrong.

Putting your jig a few feet under a bobber keeps it off the bottom out of the many stick snags out there too.
