Depending on how much suspended plant life is in the water, trolling a pop-gear worm combo is always a bunch of fun at Scofield. You'll most likely catch stocker sized fish trolling this setup but it always seems to produce. Lots of people find the north side of the island a good spot for still fishing. Use worms, powerbait, or the old worm and mallow combo. I like to cast and retrieve a 1/4 oz jig head with a tube jig over it. The retrieve should simulate a wounded or dying shiner. Aslo, #6 and #9 Pathner martins along with jakes are good spinning choices. All of these have worked for me from one time to another at Scofield. Good luck and let us know how ya do![url "javascript: addTag('
