FISHING: Great
The Creek has been fantastic on the upper stretches. The entire Nature Conservancy stretch is fishing well due to a plethora of insect activity. Baetis and PMD activity has intensified as well as the Trico spinner falls in the morning. With the Caddis and Callibaetis mixed in, plus the hoppers and damsels, there always seems be something to fish for. Expect more of the same this week with the Trico expected to intensify even more. Check our Tips and Tactics page on our website for a 101 on fishing the Trico Spinner fall!

The lower reaches of the Creek are less crowded and are fishing fair depending on when you go. Very early and very late caddis activity will bring up a few fish. Hoppers in the evening will draw a few strikes and there is some limited Damsel activity in the afternoon. Trico action has been hit or miss depending on what the wind is doing on the lower half of the river.
