After an entire week of cancelled trips, due to rain and rough seas, I fished Estero Bay, on the east side of Big Hickory on Friday. These guys were bound and determined to fish, and willing to get wet…and we did! But, we caught a 21 ½ inch redfish and released 11 snook to 20 ½ inches. We also caught two sand bream, all on live shrimp, and got to see some small tarpon rolling. The photo attached is of anglers Emily and Natalie, with a 27 inch gag grouper, caught last Friday on a trip to the Bonita Beach reefs.
