Man you guys rock!!! Sounds like it was an awesome day on the water. Thanks for the report, and sharing the pics.
I highly doubt a fish of that size has whirling disease. It usually kills them when they are much smaller, like 6-8 inches. It was probabaly just a congenital defect.
