well if you have never cought a Walleye now is your best chance.. just go down to the harbor go out to the north jetty and hook some, carp meat,white bass meat,sucker meat,or chub meat. cast out and fish just like your fishing for catfish..
and wait tell you get a bite and then you want to try and rip the fishes head off when you set the hook then just pull it in..
they dont fight very good so if it feels like your pulling in a sticker bush or a waterloged stick then it's a eye.. but if it realy takes off you got a catfish,,
