Fished the north end on the far side last Saturday. Splake and Rainbows were taking paddlebugs (white or green) tipped with mealies. The bite trailed off about 1:30/2:00. This was the first time I've fished there and I was surprised at how deep the lake was so close to shore! We were only 20 yards from shore and the bottow was down 70+ feet. Fish were caught on the bottom and cruising 20-40 ft. On the way back some people on the near side of the north end reported similar success. There were also a few Laketrout taken but I didn't get one.
