Rockin!!

i hit the rock this afternoon, got there around 230.... i fished the 3rd restroom exit on the west side, when i got there i drilled 6 or 7 holes with no luck for the first hour and a half. i was using a ratfinki under a swedish pimple. the guy that was nearest to me said he was marking tons of fish, but couldnt strike a bite.. so i figured that they were real finicky today, and i was right. i took off the swedish pimple, and put on a glo tear drop ice fly, with no flash or weight. and i used a slip bobber rig. i started slammin them one after another. they would take it before the bobber stop even hit the top of the bobber. i ended up with my limit of perch in the last 45 minutes that i was there!! as well as 6 or 7 trout, with one pushing 19'' that one hit the fly while it was sinkin, maybe 3 ft under the ice. all in all a fun day. and the bald eagle on the drive home topped it off.
