Walleye in the rain ?????
#4
Well I suppose I'll have to take the middle ground on this one. In mho its not so much the weather condition as it is the light factor.. While I've never made Walleye the top target spieces of mine, I have been know to roll a few from time to time. I have caught eye during good weather and bad, rain, snow, big blows or shine. But whats become clear to me is due to an Eyes fantastic low light vision murky water created by wind driven waves pounding a shoreline provides them with a perfect opportunity to ambush and feast and they will often take full advantage of it, rain or shine.. Whats more its my belief that feed for walleye enjoy the same conditions due to the fact the pounding action of the waves will dislodge feed for them as well. Waves helps suspend little morsels in the water where its easy for the bait fish to feast upon, and in turn, the large preds such as walleye have easy pickings too.. In other words waves pounding a shoreline create water currents and feeding chains. With any luck you'll soon be topping the list of preds along the shoreline feasting on the beasties.. Best of luck!

Aw heck,, what do I know??
