PDS is right on the money, if you catch two walleyes that have the same length, the female will always be the one that is fatter. The female I caught a few weeks ago was 20 inches and a little over 3 lbs, it was a lot fatter than a male would have been of the same length, a male that length would weigh around 2 lbs.
