Need some current info.
Upon looking at the picture in the article on Alamitos Bay, CA fishing, I realized that the very spot of the photograph at the end of Olympic Stadium may still be POSTED with a NO FISHING area sign. Why, I have been there exploring for good fishing spots and read the sign at the entrance to that very spot as well as similar signs being posted on buildings near the restrooms and the pay-to-launch entrance.
Parking is great as there is a park situated quite close and very convenient if I remember correctly.
Question: Is that big 4 X 6 foot sign saying words to the effect that fishing is absolutely NOT ALLOWED on the stadium primises still posted to the left and right beside the opening in the fence directly 6 feet behind where the photograph showed? Hummmm
If the sign is no longer there or it doesn't say anything about fishing restrictions as I remember it did or does, I'd like to go fishing there myself! Indeed, is the sign no longer there? If it is there, maybe that person shouldn't be doing what he's doing.
Looking forward to a reply as I could see little fishes scurring about and I cannot but believe that spot would be great, if it's not against the law to fish there.
I'm not stirring the pot, I just don't want to go down there and see that stupid, unreasonable, lousy, rotton, sign there and not be able to fish. I've got my fingers crossed!
Sign me: Following the rules even if I don't like it!
