Thats one big hog brown and most likely was up river before jordanelle was built. I used to fish that whole strech back in 1980 and I would catch loads of 25in. browns. I lost a monster that jumped about 6 feet into the air and shook the hook, that fish looked to be about 12 to 15 lbs. just about where the dam is now.
that whole river about 1 mile above jordanelle and 5 miles below was prime brown trout fishing. I had permission from Jhon Days owner of the Rocken D Ranch. this was the best brown trout river I had ever fished. a small brown was 18in. and good one was 25in. a big one was 28in. and up, and there was quit a few 28in. later chuck
