i am not sure i can help you but in connecticut,if the past owner had regesterd it it shouldn't be too much of a problem. you can check to see if it has hull numbers,some are stamped on the stern,some on the bow,that year boat might not have any.if the last owner didn't regester it and the owner before did you will have to go to him.i ran into the same problem with my boat.being so old i didn't need a title here.best bet is to contact mass dmv
