Taking my granddaughters fishing

I prefer to fish with as fresh of bait as possible. With this in mind, I prefer to not leave my shrimp out to get smelly, but rather use it just thawed enough to stick onto a hook. With this said, I have drug the same bag of shrimp around now for about three years! Bottom line -- use it fresh if you have it, and use it less than fresh if that is what you have.
