Not for sure but 40ft by the dam.

Some of the larger fish will start eating shiners but thats not the problem. The smaller fish will be out competed and starve or barely survive. Nobody wants to fish a trophy lake and catch skinny 12" fish.

Fish4fish actually the food resources will be reduced because of large schools of shiners.

I don't see why every report about Golden Shiners say they are open water fish. Every lake I see them them in they are close to the shore in large schools.

I hope I'm wrong but if not the DWR better start saving for some rotenone.
