Photos of my tube modifications
#9
No need to jetison the second drink holder yet - I just happen to have created a "Y" connection to that very flyrod holder - So I could have a drink holder on that side too - both my left and right sides get thirsty.

As far as the weight issues are concerned, the modifications have not added that much to the total. I can easily carry everything in one trip if I need to, I designed it to be very portable because the places I want to fish with it are sometimes a hike from my vehicle.

My fishcat can float me and just about anything I can fit on it for a "regular" fishing trip. I did weigh it for one trip and the total(tube, modifications and fishing gear) at that time was around 25 lbs - but, I have changed a few things since and that particular trip was not really representative of my "regular" fishing habits.

I have not weighed the modifications separately as of yet, However, I will do that and post the total weights of the components of my system as soon as I can.
