Fished Willard, on the water at 7:30, nice cool, cloudy and breezy. Perfect walleye conditions and they responded. I boated my limit nothing over 17" plus a bonus wiper and catfish. I watched another boat (Smith and Edwards Team Walleye) catch loads of walleye. He thought he hooked more than 30 and I belive him, he had on 2 at a time numerous times. He said he just won $30k at a walleye tourney and his luck must still be with him. He was smokin' em.
I caught everything on the North side on silver spinner/worm and bottom bouncers trolling at 0.0 on my Lowrance and .0-.3 on my gps. The same thing the tourney fisherman was using but I didn't come anywhere close to the numbers he did. Must be the touch or the way he held his
. I did notice he wasn't wearing his hat, suppose that had something to do with it?
