Hey Pat , I cruised all over by the dam and seen fish on the finder most of the day . Even noticed schools of minnows too . Only reason I say I was casting for pike was I seen groups of minnows leaping out of the water (boils) in the shallows . There must be thousands of big carp out there too . I was afraid I would hit one with my prop . LOL I only went to the narrow area east from the dam about 1.5 miles away . Fish were all over the bottom in 45' to 54' of water . Some were 12' to 24' down but most were on the bottom . Better luck next time , but I am glad my boy caught fish for sure . It is hard to get him out of the house from the video games .
