Changing Fly Lines Aboard Your Tube
#28
I checked out the link and it brought back nightmares of my Caddis doughnut. I had one of those power float tubes strapped on the back. What a pain to get in and out of, Thank god for "U" shaped tubes. Ido remember that we were one of the first on Henry's with this set-up. Everyone else threw their tubes in their boats, cruised to their spot and launched.
That Kennebec looks alot like the same design as the Echo. I like the Echo cause of the small metal frame, Hard "comfortable" seat that is adjustable and the self sealing bladders. It also has large storage pockets and and (with easy assembly) a cargo shelf in the back. The apron is killer-attaches to the sides of the seat with snaps and has a lip around it so it is fairly ridgid.
Of course I still have my Fat Cat and My Cardiac Canyon which I love.
I just hope that people stay away from PVC bladders (The lower priced ones) and get Urethane.
It all depends on how much you will use it, how long do you plan on using it, transportation, and of course, COST!
Anything will get you out there to the fish with a little imagination, but it is like a Moped or a Harley. Comfort, Longevity sometimes cost a little more but worth it in the long run
In closing I only advise, do a little research before you buy. the ol' wolf in cheeps clothing. [cool]
