Creek Company ODC 420 Float Tube on Sale
#21
[cool][#0000ff]I agree 100%. I have been in business and marketing for many years, and I would never represent a product that I could not be proud of or recommend with complete confidence. Similarly, I always want the best for myself. I would rather have to b^&$# about a few extra dollars, up front, than to have to live with poor quality for a long time. Or, as you point out, having to worry about harm to yourself or your tackle.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Nothing anal about wanting the best you can get. It is a good policy in the long run. As I often say "Good things ain't cheap...and cheap things ain't good." Of course, there are always bargains to be had, but as long as you establish your priorities for quality you need not settle for something strictly on the basis of price.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Then there is the issue of pride of ownership. Sure, we want good quality because it serves us better. But, most of us also are guilty of liking to flaunt our good stuff to the riffraff that can't afford it or wouldn't appreciate it if they could. Even better when we can make our own stuff and it is better than the high priced stuff. What a rush to wave your custom rod (made by you) and to catch fish after fish on your own hand-tied patterns...that are not available anywhere besides your fly box.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]If wanting to protect all of that and avoid loss or damage is being anal, then you can include most of the rest of us.[/#0000ff]
