where would a man go to get crappie?

I caught 3 crappie at pineview this year, at the second pull off towards the damb on the south side. Fishing was very slow, caught 1 carp and 1 perch that day also. Used a small spoon and 12 in above that used small curly tale both tipped with wax worm. Good luck,
