I was up their today and it wasn't -18 but it was about -8 when I left the truck at 7:30am, I was over at Jakes Bay and it wasn't that slow but not that good either I caught 6 cuts mostly 16"-17" one keeper of 23" and one little tiny fella of 10" never caught such a small cut? even caught him on a minnow?? but about your finder you got to invest in a Vexilar they are the best ice fishin thing out their! flashers are alot better than finders if you ask me[
