[#0000ff]We appreciate your willingness to contribute good info, even if it is to past threads. That is one of the great things about our board is that we keep the old stuff and even have special archive sections for some of the more popular waters.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I agree that there are still some decent cats in Willard, but no serious cat chaser would disagree that the situation is very different than in the "olden days". I used to count on taking quite a few cats over ten pounds out of Willard every year, and got more than a few in the 15 plus category. These days a cat over 5 pounds from Willard is newsworthy. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Hopefully, with the higher water levels once again submerging the rocks and creating spawning habitat for all species, the cats will increase both in numbers and size.[/#0000ff]
