Newbie Gear Help
#12
Alrighty. Unfortunately, I didn't see the last few posts before I went to get my stuff.

I picked up an assortment of sinkers, a few bobbers, swivels, hooks, etc.

Also I picked up some soft plastics, a couplea in-line spinners.

A medium 7' Ugly Stik and a Shimano 2000 something or other reel. I ended up having to go to WalMart and their reel selection was terrible, I wanyed a Daiwa but I think I got a decent reel, it feels much smoother than my cheapo reel.

Anyway, I'm happy with my purchase, but I've got a lot of reading and, or course fishing to do. Thanks for all the help, you guys rock. I'm really looking forward to getting out on the water now that I've got some stuff to play around with.
