Caught a pirhana once while fly fishing in a local lake...it unnerved me a little - it was only 10" long, but the thought that someone was dumping exotic species in my favorite wading lake bothered me a little.
While fishing on a friend's pond one afternoon, I caught a 4 foot long snake on an artificial bait...that was one
snake, LOL.
Most unique catch was on a favorite surface bait of mine, I hooked a nice bass, and all of a sudden another bass grabs the bait trying to take it away from the one I had hooked and all of a sudden, I've got two bass on one lure...the guy I'm fishing with says "there's two more fish down there trying to take the bait away" and, as he nets my two fish the other two swim into the net and on one cast he nets all four bass...awesome! (all the fish were released).
