I got to Silver Lake at about 6:00pm last night and fished until around 9:30. It was raining when I got there. But, I put on the raingear and went fishing anyway. I probably only rained for about 1/2 hour. The wind blew most of the evening. It was just hard enough that I got a pretty good work out just keeping the tube in the middle of the lake. In fact the wind probably helped. When the wind did die down for a few minutes the fish wouldn't bite. I fished a fly and bubble and caught 40 fish including several 14" bows, some smaller bows, some small brookies, and one 4" shinner.
