I can tell you this much about the color of a hook, they catch more anglers than fish....
I have used old rusted hooks from the bottom of the boat when I couldnt find anything else, the fish dont seem to mind.
now ask about the different modles, circle verses octopus verses long shank snells verses crome, stainless, varius coatings the list goes on and on and on. but remember to ask which fish to use it with... or how to present it...
ofcorse one could ask if their mother-in-law's blue hair would make good flies [angelic][sly] Just be carefull collecting them when the brush runs out, remember to grab only one at a time or you will wake her while she is snoring...[shocked]
