Good info. I wrote about Diamond Fork a couple of months ago for the Standard-Examiner, after having made a trip down there in early summer. The damage from high run-off was just horrific. The old streambed's turns were just straightened out completely, and deadfall was piled to amazing levels.
And the fish then were basically non-existant through several miles of water. Quite frustrating. In fact, all we really found were a few browns that were cooperative in some of the surviving "good holes" from years gone by.
And it sounds like browns are not going to be a part of Diamond's future, either. Just cutts.
Not that cutts are a bad thing. I just like a mixed bag in lower stretches of rivers and streams.
